Amazing care; compassionate and understanding team! My previous dentist worked here and I had some time down from seeing a dentist; i was chewing gum and a old molar filling broke - scared me alot because I couldn't see what happened fully and had some sensitivity. The team was able to fit me into their busy schedule to rapid assess and give me a repair estimate. They completed the work same day! I tend to be anxious - expecially with my health; worked in EMS for almost a decade so I can be a horrible patient -- Ethan from the front desk/technician helped calm my nerves and get me situation while I waited on the doctor - very polite and helped keep me from freaking out! Dr. Julie Solorio was very approachable and listened to my health concerns and fear of dental work - she made sure to take her time to properly and gently numb the affected area before starting work. This is like the only time where I did not feel any discomfort during the filling, and didn't feel any discomfort during the numbing process! This is not mikula dental anymore! It is unfortunate for myself and I'm sure many others that Dr Jim retired. I have been going here for over 20 years and in that time never was I told that the dentist wouldn't be in to see me on a scheduled appointment. This has happened to me three times in the last month! The guy who claims to be the office manager was very rude, condescending, and outright lied to me when I became frustrated with having to reschedule my appointment again. When I asked to speak to his boss, he refused to give me that information. I will never step foot into this practice again. It's very sad as to what has happened to a place that used to be a Great dental office!!

The receptionists, the hygienist, and the doctor made my first visit to Livonia Dental Team a positive experience. Everyone was very friendly. The hygienist and doctor took the time to explain everything and answer any questions. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but this location made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

My experience was pretty good, yvonne explained to me about how to better clean and maintain my teeth, very and explanatory. Dr. Thornton was confirming my teeth for the next steps and outlook for better teeth.

I can’t say enough great things about the Livonia Dental Team, especially Dr. Majid and Evon. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Majid is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident in your care. You never feel rushed, and it’s clear he truly cares about his patients. Evon is equally amazing—warm, attentive, and always makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire visit. Her positive energy and attention to detail make a huge difference, especially if you’re someone who feels anxious about dental appointments. Together, they make an outstanding team.
